Don’t Celery Yourself Short

Instead of starting off from seeds, I decided to use my scraps from dinner to begin growing my celery.

Day 1: I placed my celery stalks in a shallow dish with luke-warm water. Simple as that.

Day 10: My celery stalks began to sprout from the bases so I planted them in damp soil with the leaves uncovered.

I’m hoping that the frost won’t get to them so I’m going to bring them in overnight until the temperature warms up a little.

Well, it has been 3 months now since the celery was planted and they both have a very fine crop of leaves . I think they should be ready to dig up and eat. Fingers crossed!
